i bet you never thought you would see the finished piece...those work in progress shots were submitted AGES ago!

well after a lot of time and effort, here she is..... Motoko Kusanagi

this started out life when i decided i loved the anime series so much that i wanted my very own poster of it...so i thought i would make one

i suppose this scene was inspired by episode 4 in 2nd GIG (GITS fans know the one i mean) theres an amazing scene at the end where kusanagi and her tachikoma are chased under a hail of bullets from one of the Hornet attack copters...so i painted my version of that

and dont feel so sorry for the tachikoma...its just a shell.

While most anyone who has been a user of deviantART for a while knows the name`arcipello, his Fragile Shell is a no-brainer for today's Daily Deviation. This piece has been ages in the making. He's submitted work in progress snapshots as early as August 2004! So, despite that he's already one of the best known artists on DA, you can't but oogle at his latest! ( Featured by °dygel )
